How much does Glassroutes cost?
Glassroutes is free to start. There are three plans: Starter is free, Pro is $59 per month, and Camp is $149 per month. Every plan includes a branded booking page, Stripe payments, and the full operator dashboard. Paid plans add features and lower the platform fee. Pay monthly, or save about two months by paying annually: $590 a year for Pro and $1,490 a year for Camp.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Starter plan is free forever and includes a full booking website, your own custom domain, Stripe payments, camps, lessons, single sessions, your client and athlete database, waivers and intake forms, and discount codes. It carries a higher platform fee than the paid plans (4 percent instead of 1 percent), but you can pass that fee on to registrants on any plan, so the free plan can genuinely cost you nothing to run. What the paid plans add is the lower fee, removal of the Powered by Glassroutes mark from your site and emails, and higher caps on staff and forms. It is a real plan you can run a camp on, not a trial.
What fee does Glassroutes take per registration?
A platform fee that depends on your plan: 4 percent on Starter, and 1 percent on Pro and Camp. That is the only cut Glassroutes takes from a registration. You can pass that fee on to the registrant at checkout on any plan, including the free Starter plan, so it does not have to come out of your own pocket.
Are there payment processing fees on top?
Yes. Stripe charges its standard processing fee of 2.9 percent plus 30 cents per transaction, the same in the US and Canada. That is Stripe's fee, not ours, and it applies on any card payment platform. You can pass processing on to the registrant on any plan so your payout matches your list price.
Can I pass the fees on to parents instead of absorbing them?
Yes, on any plan, including the free Starter plan. Turn on fee pass-through and both the platform fee and Stripe processing are added to the registrant's total, so you net your advertised price. For example, on a $300 camp with pass-through on, you receive the full $300 and the parent covers the fee as a service charge. That service charge is a little larger on Starter, where the platform fee is 4 percent, than on Pro or Camp, where it is 1 percent, but on every plan your own payout is your full list price. In the US the fee appears as a clearly labeled service fee line at checkout and on the receipt. For operators based in Canada it is included in the all-in price the registrant sees, with no separate fee line. Fee pass-through is available for operators based in the US and Canada.
What is the difference between the Pro and Camp plans?
Pro ($59 per month) removes Glassroutes branding and adds waitlists with auto-promotion, add-ons and upsells, a cross-camp payouts report, and higher staff and form limits. Camp ($149 per month) adds everything built for running camps at volume: payment plans so parents can split a fee into installments, per-camp insights like fill pace and collected versus outstanding revenue, the ability to duplicate a past camp with new dates, and unlimited add-ons, forms, and staff.
Do you charge per athlete or per camp?
No. You pay a flat monthly or annual subscription plus the small platform fee per registration. Adding more athletes, camps, or sessions does not raise your subscription. The only thing that scales with volume is the percentage platform fee, which you can pass on to registrants on any plan.
Can parents pay in installments?
Yes, on the Camp plan. You can offer 2 or 3 monthly installments on a camp. The first payment runs at checkout, then the parent's card is charged automatically each month after that. If a charge fails, Glassroutes retries up to three times and emails a reminder before asking the parent to update their card. You turn plans on per camp from the Pricing section of any session.
When am I charged, and is there an annual discount?
Your subscription bills at the start of each period, monthly or annually, from the day you upgrade. Annual billing saves you about two months versus monthly: Pro is $590 a year instead of $708, and Camp is $1,490 a year instead of $1,788.
Is there a contract? Can I cancel?
No contract. You can cancel any time from your billing settings. You keep access until the end of your current billing period, after which the dashboard becomes read-only. Your booking page stays live for clients who have future scheduled sessions, so existing commitments are not orphaned, but new bookings stop. If you come back later, even a year later, your data is intact.
How does the money reach me?
Through Stripe Connect. You connect your own Stripe account during onboarding, and money goes directly from the parent’s card to your bank, usually within two business days. Glassroutes never holds your funds. Stripe collects the tax forms it needs during onboarding, and a sole proprietorship is fine. You do not need an LLC to take payments.
